It is a fact that if you show a person a picture of their own naked body but edit out the head, they will mostly not recognise themselves. They will instead judge that persons body objectively, as a stranger might. In this series of self-portraits – and I am the only person in them, I assure you – I am attempting to view a sexualised male body objectively. I am not under the illusion that they may be considered erotic. That was never the intention.
